Welcome to my website. My name is Rio Phoebus. I am an actor, a photographer, and a writer. I am one hundred and twenty-eight pounds, five feet seven, and athletic built. My eyes are green and my hair is brown. I usually wear size three clothing. My age range on camera is twenty-nine to thirty-eight years old. I love to do sports like martial arts, to ride my bicycle, and freestyle dancing. I was born in Maputo, the city of Mozambique. A once upon a time Portuguese colony in south east Africa. I've travelled around the world, and I've lived in South Africa, Portugal, and Spain. I currently live in United States. I grew up constantly travelling with my parents. We mostely spent time with my grandparents that were in a farm in Portugal. We never watched any television; my grandmother said people on television did stupid things, my grandfather was suspicious the people on the other side of the television could watch us too. Sometimes my childhood was exotic, electrifying, and very funny. Sometimes it was isolating and boring. My favorite activity was to discover a secret place where nobody could find me for a few hours and seriously put my imagination to work. Sometimes I brought music with me which belonged to my parents. They possessed an extensive collection of film soundtracks. And because I rejected all that was made for children like me. I imagined complicated scenarios, intriguing dialogues, dramatic moments, and finally kisses because everything had to end in kisses. Now I live in the beautiful city of New York. My existence is exotic, electrifying, funny, isolating, and boring. In my opinion these are perfect characteristics for the imagination. Imagination is what I know best. I'm very happy while exploring creatively; in my photography, in my writings, and as a performer. I feel that my life found me, and not the other way around. My experience in the film industry is very recent. I hope to have a chance to work to my fullest potential.
